This Privacy Policy explains what information CrewLog Helper collects, why, and the choices you have. CrewLog Helper is a digital crew logbook with cloud sync — unlike a fully offline app, some of your data is stored on our servers so it can follow you across devices.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
Email address and password (or Google account identity, if you sign in with Google)
Company ID, if you use one to log in
Logbook and app content
Flight/duty entries, schedules, and related notes you create
Documents and images you scan or upload (processed by on-device text recognition; the document images you choose to sync are stored with your account)
Automatically collected
Device model, OS version, app version
Crash reports and performance diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics)
IP address and approximate location derived from it (collected by our service providers)
2. How We Use It
To create and secure your account and sync your logbook across your devices
To back up your entries so you don’t lose them when changing phones
To fix bugs and improve the App (crash reports, usage statistics)
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your logbook content for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) hosts accounts and synced data on Google’s secure infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase’s data processing terms.
Google AdMob (free version, if ads are shown) may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data as described in our ad consent dialog and Google’s partner-sites policy.
4. Your Rights and Choices
Access / export: your entries are visible in the App at any time.
Correction: edit any entry directly in the App.
Account deletion: you can delete your account and all associated server-side data [in the App under Settings → WIPE OUT option] / [by emailing info@konettech.com from your account email address]. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, synced logbook entries, and uploaded documents within 30 days.
Ad personalization: manage via the consent dialog or your device ad settings.
EEA/UK users: our legal bases are contract performance (providing the sync service you signed up for) and consent (analytics/ads). California residents: we do not sell or share personal information beyond the disclosures above. Contact us with any privacy request; we respond within 30 days.
5. Data Retention & Security
We keep your account data while your account is active. Deleted accounts and their data are purged within 30 days. Data is protected by encryption, access controls, and Google’s SOC-audited infrastructure.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for professional use by users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change and material changes will be announced in the App.
